Let's decipher Glenn Beck's manipulative prefabricated arguments concerning the downfall of America under the presidency of Barack Obama.
*Slightly increased taxes to help pay for programs that benefit the entire country and those less fortunate than the wealthy is ruining the lives of everyone?
*If the fact mandatory insurance under the health care reform is so infringing upon the rights of American's; why did the republicans force Obama to compromise his original plan (which didn't include forced insurance) by proposing the idea in order to pass the bill?
*Under George W. Bush's presidency the unethical and unwarranted slaughter of thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens (you mean there were no weapons of mass destruction to link the country to 9/11?) was perfectly acceptable simply because taxes were lower during his presidency?
Q: Why did taxes increase?
A: Because Bush's unnecessary war caused a $482 billion deficit that Barack Obama inherited his first year of presidency.
Given this fact and what Obama has accomplished throughout said deficit I would say he has done well. He just ended Bush's war (despite the fact Bush declared mission accomplished in 2003 but ended his second term in 2008 while the war raged on).
Do republicans care about anything besides their finances?
The impression I gather from this silly little scheme is that the Goons of Politics are incredibly racist and will say and do anything to rid the country of an African American president.
If this isn't it then I struggle to understand the point? What needs to be restored?
